This editorial was a collaboration with my friend Jen, one half of the creative talent behind L'avenir Jewelry. They create stunning vintage jewelry pieces, and I knew I wanted to incorporate them into the shoot. When I approached Jen I didn't really know what direction I wanted to go in. All I knew is that I wanted to do a wintery bridal shoot because I hadn't found any that I had been particularly inspired by. I wanted to do a styled shoot that was moody and edgy; something different than most bridal shoots you see. However, being a bridal shoot, it still had to be beautiful. My goal was to perfectly juxtapose the beauty and the edge.
