Nicole Liwienski and Jennifer Rasmussen, co-owners of White Peacock Styled Events, have invented a new word. “Frilloon” combines their dual love of frills and balloons. The 30-inch helium-filled balloons are perfectly round and come in a wide range of colors, and the strings feel extra-special thanks to frilly paper tassels, which can be customized to match any color palette.
Liwienski and Rasmussen launched Shop Frilloon to give brides and frill-lovers alike access to this delightful décor. “We wanted to make it so you can order frilloons as easily as you can order flowers,” says Liwienski.
“They really are a ‘wow piece,’ ” Liwienski continues. She and Rasmussen have been delighted with the creative ways couples are incorporating these special balloons into their big moments. They arranged custom calligraphy to help one gentleman pop the big question. (And yes, she said ‘Yes.’) It’s a sweet way to invite friends to be bridesmaids; or send the flower girls down the aisle with a frilloon bouquet instead of flower petals.
