"From the first day of planning a wedding to the actual day, Lakeside assists every step of the way. Every last detail is accounted for so the bride and groom don't have a thing to worry about on their wedding day. The entire venue is absolutely beautiful and can't be beat. The view overlooking Lake Minnewaska is breathtaking. I loved that everything could be done in one place. The groom's dinner, ceremony, dinner, reception, and boat ride were included in our wedding day so we didn't have to worry about transportation, guests traveling between places, etc. The location of Lakeside is amazing in a sense that it's on the lake with a beautiful view from the ballroom, hotels are nearby so that guests who are staying don't have to travel far, and it's in a cute small town with a lot to do (where I just so happened to grow up). The staff are AMAZING; specifically Jill and Shelly. They will make sure that the bride and groom can enjoy their day without a worry in the world. With the direct lake view, Lady Lakeside boat (or bus], and ample space for a large wedding, it couldn't be a more perfect venue. There are so many food and beverage options to choose from at a very affordable price (not to mention the venue itself is one of the most reasonable in the state). "Lakeside is a beautiful venue with amazing staff!! My husband and I started our wedding journey in 2018 with a planned May 2020 wedding date. We started early because we knew Lakeside was highly sought after and would book up fast. The aspect that sealed the deal for us was that we could have everything we wanted in one place. We didn't have to look elsewhere for tables, chairs, linens, food, and liquor. Plus, the inside and outside of the ballroom is so beautiful which meant we could spend less on decorations. You can tell immediately that the staff are professionals. They were able to answer every question and worry I had every step of the way. Fast forward to 2020 - Lakeside was the first phone call I made to reschedule our big day due to the Covid shutdown. They were very understanding and supportive while I went through one of the toughest situations a bride could deal with.
