What an exciting year 2014 was in the world of wedding gowns. We saw brides embracing new trends, like floral printed dresses, and of course honoring classic traditions as well. While it can be difficult to pinpoint where the inspiration for designers' visions come from (except when Princess Kate gets married in a beautiful gown with lace sleeves) we so enjoy tracking new styles from the runway to your real weddings.
At this year's Bridal Fashion Week we couldn't help but notice a high number of, well, high collars. With many designers showcasing more than one dress in this style, we are excited to see how this look will evolve in the coming year. This style is beautiful with or without sleeves, and many have bead or lace embellishments at the neck. We like the idea of eliminating the need for a necklace and letting the dress shine on its own.
