Fine Jewelry designer Sarah Graham’s work is anything but ordinary. Inspired by natural elements and the complex art of metallurgy, Sarah’s pieces combine craftsmanship, simplicity, and beauty through bold design and unexpected color combinations. Sarah is truly dedicated to her craft. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in International Business and working in the field for years, she made the drastic decision to indulge her life-long artistic inclination by quitting her job and diving into the jewelry design trade.
The results have been truly inspiring. Her strong, yet subtly feminine pieces have left clients across the country clamoring for her designs. It only makes sense that Max’s at the Shops at Excelsior and Grand was one of the first jewelry curators to feature Sarah’s work. With a reputation for finding the most unique styles in the jewelry world, it was a perfect fit.
During her trunk show at Max’s on October 24th Sarah will be featuring a new ring -- a unique take on the traditional three-stone wedding band. The matte black finish combined with yellow gold and sparse, understated diamonds has become a signature look for the designer, who spent years developing that special black cobalt chrome finish. The ring was initially commissioned by Sarah’s brother for his wife as they eagerly awaited the arrival of their first child. Named “Bee” (inspired by the couple’s last initial) the moniker stuck, and is now the sweet middle name of the couple’s little girl.
As each new piece or collection is a continuation of an existing one, Sarah’s entire line has a sense of continuity, while remaining completely unique from piece to piece. Below, some beautful rings that are representative of the collection as a whole, with descriptions from the designer herself. Enjoy!
