Vera Wang isn't one to shy away from shocks and surprises while unveiling her new bridal collections. Remember her black gowns? Or the pink ones? Or when she sent models down the runway in long black leather gloves? The Queen of Bridal is back with her Spring 2015 collection — this time surprising everyone with this entrancing video showing the gowns in movement. (With burning roses and an ethereal soundtrack, no less.)
This marks a first for Vera: For the first time in 24 years, instead of hosting a runway show at bridal market, she instead released the video on her website. Of the video, she said, "The opportunity to create a visual and expressive experience of the
clothes, as interpreted by my fashion vision, is a whole new way for me
to communicate with not only brides, but women everywhere. In this instance, bridal becomes the artistic vehicle to advance my
love of fashion in general. I hope you will enjoy this new experience."
