Wedding Design Channels New York Maximalism at Café & Bar Lurcat

Café Lurcat was the perfect canvas and the inspiration for this chic, New York maximalism wedding design. "Café Lurcat is an iconic Minneapolis restaurant with crystal chandeliers, black & white checkerboard tile and a classic look & feel," Natalie Howell of Roepke Communications says. Dreamed up by Bree Burich of Archifête Planning & Design, the classic, Old Hollywood-style concept was the perfect way to show the importance of catering at an event. The tablescape was a stunning sight adorned with velvet napkins, bows and handwritten menus. Fiery florals added a sense of drama to the day as dirty martinis and oysters acted as the ideal décor to the glam day. "The shoot also emphasizes the importance of food and beverage at an event. Often, it can be an afterthought, but it can add to the aesthetic of an event when done correctly and create a heightened sensory experience."
